Built between 1830-35, the site is part of the Grade II listed ranged terraced houses Nos. 1-23 Albion Street, designated in 1970, as well as located within the Bayswater Conservation Area, designated in 1967. This project follows a previously permitted application which has granted listed building consent back in 2014, however the application regarding the discharge of conditions was refused in 2022, due to the Local Planning Authority considers the resultant implementation of works had departed from the approvals, thus requiring regularisation and enforcement on this matter. Client hence instructed WS Heritage to respond to the refusal on conditions and seek to regularise works actually undertaken.
