Honeywood Museum in Carshalton, London Borough of Sutton

Project Outline

WS Heritage was instructed by the London Borough of Sutton Council to obtain listed building consent application for the replacement of failed leadwork, implementation of a grating, and the conversion of existing rooflight. The site is built during the late 18th century, designated as a Grade II listed building in 1974, and locates within the Carshalton Village Conservation Area, designated in 1968. Given the previous methodologies of the site had consistently and demonstrably failed, proposals submitted on 21st February 2023 seek to replace the failed features whilst introducing alternatives to better preserve the site in the ongoing future.
