Lawsons Farm in West Sussex
Project Outline
Built during the 17th century, the site is a Grade II listed building designated in 1980. This project follows the previously withdrawn application dated 28th December 2023, hence a revised proposal application was submitted on 1st March 2024. In order to increase living space and to enhance functionality of the property for the growing family, the amended scheme included the construction of a part-single and part two-storey extension with a glazed link, and the exterior refurbishment by means of replacing non-original windows. The extension will be clearly subservient in relation to the principal elevation of the host listed building, whereas the contemporary design will ensure a distinct and requisite separation between old and new structures.
